The Bendeela Reserve Camping Area is quite a busy spot during public and school holidays. No dogs are permitted, and your not allowed to fly your quad-copters or model airplanes here either.

Opening hours

Open 24 hours a day, all year round (front camping ground).
Rear camping ground is only open to vehicles during busy holiday periods

Turn left just before the power station. Nice spot on banks of the Kangaroo River.
Note: The dump point is located at the first toilet block.

The Hobart Beach campground has multiple toilet facilities, hot showers are on a timer, fire pits, an onsite laundry, plus some shady and sunny sites. Large covered area with plenty of tables and bench seats. There is a shallow lake next to the campground.

Make sure you pre-book in peak times as all sites are numbered.

Note: The park has coin-operated pay and display machines - please bring correct coins.
