Macalister River – Licola
The Macalister River is regularly stocked to ensure good fishing in season. It therefore offers some of Victoria’s best trout fishing. Easy access by vehicle to most of the river. Above Licola the Wellington River is the headwater of the Macalister and has good native trout and many excellent fishing and camping spots.
