Ninety Mile Beach

Surf fishing for bream, salmon, flathead, flounder, shark, snapper and tailor can be done along the 100kms of this beautiful beach.
The townships of Seaspray, Golden Beach, Loch Sport and Woodside provide all services and facilities for the surf angler. With over 90 miles of coastline, there are plenty of spots.

Free camping is available between Golden Beach and Seaspray in 18 designated campsites, some with toilets.
A marine National Park is located South of Seaspray.
The Australia Day weekend in January sees the annual Ninety Mile Beach surf fishing contest. A recreational fishing licence is required to take fish (including bait and shellfish) in all Victorian Marine, estuary and freshwaters. Licences and a copy of the Victorian Recreational Fishing Guide, which specifies the bag limits and seasons for different fish, are available from the Department of Sustainability and Environment and most retail fishing stores.
