Turn left just before the power station. Nice spot on banks of the Kangaroo River. Note: The dump point is located at the first toilet block.
...Located next to the Watson Creek quite a nice place to pull over and relax a bit.
...Small caravans are best suited for this spot. Its about 100 metres or so to the Shoalhaven river for those fishing enthusiasts out there.
A bit too far and difficult to carry the kayak. Its easy to miss the turn so I recommend you use your GPS.
...Fishing and swimming within 200m of weir is prohibited, but is OK once you pass the 200 metre mark in either direction .
...The Booberoi Weir in on the Lachlan River offering a nice place to stop at and test your kayak and fishing gear, and trusty camera.
...Drop your Kayak in the Murrumbidgee River and go for a short paddle or drop a line in and try and catch dinner., this is quite a large off road site with plenty of opportunities to park.
...Also included whenever possible, is an interactive map and of the location, water availability, toilets, fireplaces, shade and things to do once your there.
To make it easy for you to make up your mind if you would like to stay at one of our listed locations overnight, I have added photos from Google earth showing GPS coordinates to each campsite we have listed, and also included them in our maps. At most campsites you will be able to see if your caravan, motor home or tent will fit.
My thoughts are to create a single website to visit, that caters for all Australian locations in one place, each is packed Now you can make an informed choice as to which of cheap caravan holidays you would like to go on.
