When at Teddington Reservoir Camping Area, is an absolutely beautiful spot with flushing toilets, some fire pits, and quite a few places to choose a campsite for a day or two, there's plenty of wildlife passing by. You can walk over and take a look at the spillway, but bear in mind the lake fills after a lot of rain has fallen, then dries out fairly fast, so there's no guarantee that any significant water will be in the lake.
