Moora Racecourse & Recreation Reserve
Moora Racecourse & Recreation Reserve is a spacious 40-acre public reserve located approximately 8 km from the town of Rushworth in Victoria. Managed by a local committee, it functions as both a racecourse and a recreation area, and is also a registered RV friendly camping venue, offering a quiet and open space for travellers.
Description: Situated on Crown Land, the reserve provides a tranquil bush camping experience with plenty of room for various vehicle sizes, including big rigs, caravans, camper trailers, and tents. It is known to be a haven for birdwatchers and is surrounded by areas used by horse clubs and for events. The reserve hosts the Moora Working Draught Horse Muster, showcasing historic farming methods with heavy horses. Pets are permitted but must be kept on a leash.
