Roast Chicken in a Turbo Cooker was created by Garry
1x2kg Chicken
A few Potatoes halved
1 Carrot chopped.
1 Onion quartered
A few slices of Pumpkin

Total Cooking Time 80mins

Set temperature to 190 Celcius

Arrange all Veggies on the lower rack. (lightly spray with cooking oil)

Rub Chicken with cooking oil and salt
Place Chicken on the Top Rack - (Cook Breast Down for 40 mins)
Turn Over so Breast Side is up for another 40 mins.

Its handy to be able to see how things are going at the 80 minute mark.

And here is the result.

Vegies were left on bottom rack and not turned over.

This was our first attempt at using this amazing machine.

I forgot to mention the amount of fat we found at the botton of the cooker when done.

We filled one small McDonnalds drink cup with fat. :pinch:

Just think... this stuff normally gets re-absorbed in the chicken and vegetables by normal cooking.. ;)

This roasted chicken looks so yum and perfect. I plan to smoke some fresh, skin-on chicken thighs tomorrow, and have spent the morning contemplating marinades. Usually, I just soak them overnight in some Italian dressing, but I think I would like to try something different this time. What do you all think about bringing chickens? Do any of you normally brine your thighs? If so, what proportions of salt to water do you like? I usually scroll and read these kinds of pages for information. I really like thebarbec  for its huge content and recipes. can anyone recommend/link to/advise like this site about homemade marinades you have found that work well?
