Located on Waterfall Way in Fernmount, NSW, Burdett Park is a quiet and convenient free camping and rest stop spot ideal for caravans and motorhomes. With a donation box onsite, visitors are encouraged to contribute to help maintain this charming location. The site offers grassy parking areas (not suitable for large rigs or big caravans), along with public toilets, rubbish bins, picnic tables, and both fixed fireplaces and BBQ facilities—just bring your own firewood. While there’s no mains power, dump point, or drinking water available, the park is pet-friendly (conditions apply) and offers mobile phone reception, TV signal, and internet via mobile data. There’s limited shade and no playgrounds or nearby fishing, but it’s a peaceful place to relax for up to 48 hours. A lovely stop for self-contained travellers looking to unwind in a simple, scenic setting.

Each location is conveniently located on the map, and whenever possible, we’ve included interactive maps showing water availability, toilets, fireplaces, shade, and other essential information.

To help you make an informed decision about whether to stay at one of our listed locations overnight, we’ve added photos from Google Earth showing GPS coordinates for each campsite. You can also see if your caravan, motorhome, or tent will fit at most campsites.

Our long-term goal is to create a single website that caters to all Australian locations in one place. This will make it easier for you to make an informed choice about your next cheap caravan holiday.
