identifying an old van was created by philfr
Hi all,
any help would be appreciated. I found an old caravan in a paddock near me, but can't identify it. Someone suggested it may be a Franklin though it has Jayco stickers all over it. Also has the marks left after lettering has come off, which suggest the word "Freeway"
It has been painted "elephant" grey, but the original colour was white, with one pale green sheet of cladding around the middle.
The VIN is only 7 characters long starting with "FC-". there appears to be another set of letters under the tow hitch, but I can only see the first and the last ones -
"J --- -71".
I will attach photos of the van as it is now.
many thanks in advance
phil

Thanks Garry, but there is not one to be seen, and I have had the whole chassis sandblasted.

Hi, just handover it to the authorities, and sleep well.
